Employment Restrictions Handouts have been posted in the Ethics Resource Library.
- For Military Personnel E-1 through 0-6 and Civilian Personnel whose Rate of Basic Pay is Less than 86.5% of the Rate for Executive Schedule Level II (Less than $155,440.50 in 2012); and
- For Civilian Personnel whose Rate of Basic Pay is At or Above 86.5% of the Rate for Executive Schedule Level II ($155,440.50 in 2012) and Flag and General Officers.
The recently updated Encyclopedia of Ethical Failure is posted on our DoD Guidance Index. The encyclopedia is organized by type of violations, such as conflicts of interest, misuse of Government equipment, violations of post-employment restrictions, and travel. It is an excellent resource document for training and briefing of personnel. The ability to cite real situations and their disciplinary resolution is an excellent tool to make a point for even those employees that think it unnecessary and enjoy voicing their negative sentiment about the need for training.
